Devroop Dhar, Co-founder and Managing Director, Primus Partners said, “telecom operators had earlier been permitted non-commercial 5G trials by the government and thus we feel that they would now be ready for commercial rollout”. On BharatNet delays, Primus’ Dhar added, “The project [read: BharatNet] has seen delays over the years… and hence impeccable coordination between both State and Central Government would be needed in ensuring time bound approvals and RoWs in order to meet the target of completion by 2025.”
